VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Can you lend a hand—well actually, an arm?
The Pennsylvania Council of the Blind is holding its state convention in late October 2010, at the Radisson Hotel of Pittsburgh, Greentree.
There will be a large number of people who are blind or visually impaired at this event.
We’re seeking volunteers to cover various shifts over a period of three days—Thursday-Saturday, October 21-23. We need people to assist folks in orientation/navigation of the hotel, man exhibit tables, help with registration and perform various other tasks.
No experience with folks who are blind/visually impaired? No need to worry—we’ll train you.
