The presenters of Pennsylvania ASLTA offer a curriculum training workshop.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT – REGISTER TODAY or Very SOON! - $25.00 for one all-day from 10 to 7 pm with ASL TRAINERS: Terry Smith Rawecki, Dan Cook and Mj ShahenIn this workshop, you learn how to become an ASL teacher is organized, the teaching and learning principles that guided its development, and how to use lesson overviews, unit activities and several different DVDs to develop ASL comprehension and expressive skills. This workshop provides you with the tools to maximize the different several books – curriculum and become an even more effective ASL teacher.Helpful note: You also learn how to start ASLTA certification which is done in 3 steps – Provisional, Qualified, Professional. ASLTA evaluations are generally done every two years during the ASLTA Professional Development Conference, and may be available more often via a local ASLTA Chapter.
