Summer is here…

This has been the longest day, of the longest summer, of the longest year of my life! Most interpreters are smart enough to schedule their vacation during summer and for good reason.... it's just slow going around here. It's been that way my entire career and a season I once dreaded I now enjoy. No beaches or sun tan or wave pool here... but sleeping in a bit later and working a bit less is a vacation unto itself. Last Nights Fight Club

Thank you all who attended last nights ASL Fight Club. Some facts about last night: We had teachers, Deaf, ASL students, ITP students and certified interpreters in attendance from three states. Doors didn't officially close until 10pm. We had a blast and the house was packed with talent. Thank you to the all the Deaf attendees and a special thank you to Rich McGann for being our keynote speaker and educating us all about Deaf/Blind. Next Fight Club will be April 29th.
